Summer holidays 2018

Whitemead offers a range of accommodation options, from woodland lodges and log cabins to premier apartments and our brand-new glamping pods, all situated in the glorious Forest of Dean. You’ll have complimentary use of our indoor pool, gym, sauna and spa pools, too – and how about taking part in some of our Go Active activities during your stay? We also have a great line-up of entertainment for you every night during the holiday period.

Our self-catering accommodation provides everything you’ll need for a relaxing break but, if you prefer being a little closer to nature, then why not book a camping or caravanning pitch? Or, if you’re a glamping sort of person, we have some new pods for you to try – check out our Mega Pod X and Mega Pod XL. Whatever sort of accommodation you go for, you’ll be in the right place to make the most of the beautiful woodland surroundings.

We also have lots of activities so you can enjoy the fresh air and summer sun. Just for starters, there’s archery, Panna soccer and body-zorbing. And don’t worry, we have lots for little ones to do too, including mini jet-skis, teddy-bear making and lots more. There really is something for the whole family.

Don’t miss out on our activities – we recommend booking in advance. To book please give us a call on 01594 560400.

Dining at Whitemead

Restaurant and bar

Join us in the newly refurbished Foresters Restaurant and Bar – it’s the perfect place to have something to eat and drink or just relax. We offer everything you could want, from light lunches and full meals to coffee and cake. At such great value, you can afford to treat the whole family.

Our daily menu runs from 12 noon – 9.30pm and a wide range of great dishes are available.

Breakfast is served from 8am – 11:30am, and will ensure you’re fully set for the day ahead.

The coffee bar will serve you a barista-made coffee and tempt you with a range of homemade cakes, sticky doughnuts and fluffy muffins. Or, if you fancy some lunch, we have a selection of homemade sandwiches available at Foresters Bar.

Both our bars – Foresters and The Venue – are perfect if you just want to kick back and relax. Apart from serving hot and cold drinks and food, Foresters has a number of TV screens showing all major sporting events. The bar leads out onto an al-fresco dining area, which has great views over the park – ideal on a warm summer evening.

The Venue is where we hold all our entertainment. It’s open every night throughout the school holidays and Saturday nights from January to November, from 7pm until late.

Both bars are newly refurbished, are family friendly and offer free WiFi.
