The Forest of Dean provides varied terrain and scenery for cyclists, and with an extensive network of stoned roads and paths, it is perfect for cyclists of all abilities. Families can use the popular off road cycle paths and stay safely away from traffic.

Family Cycle Trail
9 Miles long, set along historic railway lines, this is one of the best ways to explore the forest. A circular route taking in the breathtaking Forest of Dean. A route for the whole family on specially surfaced pathways taking approx. 1-1½ hours.

Mountain Biking
For keen mountain bikers the downhill Forest tracks provide wild opportunities with an excellent dedicated off-road area starting from Pedalabikeaway Cycle Centre.
Cycle Hire
Not bringing your bike with you on holiday. Don’t worry you can hire from Dean Forest Cycles, located a short walk away in Parkend or Pedalbikeaway cycle centre.
Alternatively you can have your bikes delivered to site with Wye Bikes!
Bike Security
We would advise all guests to take extra precautions when securing your bikes whilst onsite and in the local area and recommend the use of a five star D-lock when securing your bike. We ask all guests to always secure their bikes when not in use and would also recommend all bikes are registered on the national cycle database.
